Booty Like Beyoncè

It seems to be all the rage at the moment, girls are literally working their butts off for a firm, perking backside that you could bounce a coin off.

 

Although a superficial aspect, the growing interest has helped women gain confidence in the gym and in themselves!

 

More and more ladies are becoming less afraid with weight training and are understanding and experiencing the benefits of training regularly with weights!

 

Weight training is one of the BIGGEST keys to losing body fat! And it’s great to see more and more women beginning to see this. Especially in our own town!

 

Now for the ladies who ARE working on a nice firm booty I have a great little workout for you below! (Feel free to contact me if you’re unsure how to do these.)

 

But it’s not all about looks, strong gluteal muscles are essential in posture alignment of your hips and knees, a lot of knee and back pain can be improved just by strengthening your glutes!

 

Strong glutes also help with powerful movements such as; sprinting, jumping, squatting, lunging and much more!

 

So get squatting!

 

Booty like Beyoncè Workout

 

Warm up x 3 sets with no rest

  • Jog on spot 30 sec

  • Star jump 30 sec

  • Mountain climber 30 sec

Repeat 3-5 times

  • Sumo squats x 20

  • Static lunges x 20 e/leg

  • Glute bridges x 20

  • Sumo squats (bottom half only) x 20

  • Curtsy lunges x 20

  • Single leg glute bridge x 20 e/leg

  • Lateral squat walk x up and back 5 - 10mtrs

  • Reverse glute kicks x 50 e/leg
