You may have heard this before but your circle of influence, so the five people you spend the most time with, highly influence your choices, habits, lifestyle and success.
What happens is that you feed off the energy of the people you associate with most.
This can be an amazing thing if you want to be more successful or be healthier and happier. Especially if the people you are spending most of your time with are positive, driven, enthusiastic and very active people then this will influence your choices and daily habits and help you work towards your goals.
However if you are trying to be more active, and the people who you are surrounded by are not driven by positive lifestyle choices, then you will find it very difficult to achieve your goals.
The key is to surround yourself with people who will push you to do more, keep you accountable and encourage and support you towards achieving your goals. I’m not saying to ditch your friends who don’t exercise but if you want to achieve something (even if it’s non fitness related) then you need to be around people who will help you get there. For example you wouldn’t stand with a group of smokers if you were trying to quit, as this would be detrimental to your success.
