Your Fitness Escape
A GREAT CHALLENGE
Not much beats the feeling of conquering a climb like this. Although this trip will challenge you physically and mentally. The hard parts will quickly dissolve as you soak up the incredible views from the top.
The trip will begin at 10:00am Saturday morning with a gentle stroll to Neds Gully Campground. From there we begin the ascent and most demanding section to Neds Saddle where we will stop for a rest and soak up some views.
From here we push for the summit and take a break for lunch.
After lunch we make the journey along the famous ridge, a technical route that provides many great views and photo opportunities.
After the ridge, we make the decent down to Jawbone Carpark, before a gentle walk back down into camp.
Arriving back at camp around 4-5pm and enjoying a few hard earned beverages and a night around the campfire.
Day 2 is subject to change based off the feeling of the group, but from Cooks Mill Campground we are blessed with many great walking options to explore after breakfast Sunday morning.
