Meet Our Founder

Hey, I’m Brad Cunningham, coach, owner of The Fit Shop, proud husband to Carley and Dad to three amazing girls.

 

The Fit Shop started as a simple idea: create a third space for people where they can feel supported, seen and a part of something. It’s grown into a lifestyle that’s changed not just our members’ lives, but ours too.

 

After more than fifteen years in the fitness industry, I’ve learned what truly creates change: consistency, community and a holistic approach that covers training, mindset and nutrition. No quick fixes. No fads. Just real results that stick.

With more than 15 years in the industry, Dotti is the heart of The Fit Shop. Caring, organised and always ready with encouragement, she makes sure everything (and everyone) runs smoothly.

Pelvic Health Physiotherapist + Clinical PIlates Instructor

As head of TFS PIlates, Laura brings warmth, energy and a love for movement to every Pilates session. With a background as a pelvic health physiotherapist, Laura helps clients move with confidence, strength and control.

Lochie Parkinson

Coach

Lochie’s calm, approachable nature keeps the TFS crew grounded, but don’t be fooled, his programming will still push you. Armed with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science (Deakin), Lochie loves 1:1 coaching and mentoring young athletes, helping them move better and train smarter.

Coach

Hugo brings a great balance to the team, with a background in Exercise Science and Nutrition. He’s all about helping people transform their health through smart training, solid nutrition and consistency. Outside the gym, Hugo’s training for triathlons or Ironmans, reading, or spending time with family and mates.

Coach

With a mix of English charm and Aussie grit, Hayley (aka the Pocket Rocket) brings endless energy to every session. She’s passionate about helping members hit their goals, from building strength and skill to making better choices in the kitchen. A certified Nutritional Advisor and CrossFit coach, Hayley keeps training fun, varied and full of good vibes.

Portia brings high energy and good vibes to every session. Known for keeping training fun (and effective), she’ll have you laughing one minute and pushing for that extra rep the next.

Pilates Instructor & PT

Georgia brings a welcoming energy (and a guaranteed glute burn) to every class. With a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science, Cert III & IV in Personal Training, and Reformer Pilates certification, she blends expert knowledge with real-world experience.

Pilates Instructor

Emily’s all about helping you move better, feel stronger and have a good time doing it. With her warm, encouraging style (and a sharp eye for detail), she’ll challenge you just enough to find your balance, strength and confidence, without ever losing the fun.

Pilates Instructor

Maddie brings a calm and motivating presence to every class.
Her sessions focus on control, flow and helping members challenge themselves to achieve their personal goals. She focuses on functional movements combined with traditional Pilates technique, educating clients as they move and having a bunch of fun doing so.

The backbone of TFS since 2013, Jodie keeps everything running smoothly, from memberships to day to day operations and supporting the entire team.

warmth and experience shine through.

As head of TFS PIlates, Laura brings warmth, energy and a love for movement to every Pilates session. With a background as a pelvic health physiotherapist, Laura helps clients move with confidence, strength and control. She blends clinical insight with a warm, supportive approach, creating sessions that strike the perfect balance between challenge and care. You’ll leave feeling stronger, more connected and completely in tune with your body.
Outside of Pilates, she’s usually eating out with friends, spending time with her dog, or even joining in a TFS bootcamp herself.

With a background in group fitness and Cert III & IV in Fitness and a commerce degree (major in marketing), Portia is all about great technique, consistency and building strength that lasts. Her sessions blend a mix of tough love, solid form and plenty of laughs.
Outside the gym, you’ll find her running, reading, or hanging out with her dog — soy latte in hand.

Georgia Robinson

Georgia brings a welcoming energy (and a guaranteed glute burn) to every class. With a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science, Cert III & IV in Personal Training, and Reformer Pilates certification, she blends expert knowledge with real-world experience.
Coming from a sporting and strength background, Georgia loves mixing functional training with classic Pilates principles, helping you feel strong, balanced and leave with that full-body burn. Expect lunges, core challenges and plenty of good vibes.

Emily’s all about helping you move better, feel stronger and have a good time doing it. With her warm, encouraging style (and a sharp eye for detail), she’ll challenge you just enough to find your balance, strength and confidence, without ever losing the fun.
With over a year of teaching experience and a natural for motivating others, Emily brings the perfect mix of support and good energy to every class.
Outside the studio, you’ll find her chasing her own fitness goals, playing netball or catching up with friends. Expect laughs, tunes and an upbeat vibe every time you jump on the reformer with her.

Jodie Heath

Jodie has been part of The Fit Shop family since 2013 and is the organisational force behind the scenes. From membership adjustments and admin support to helping Brad and the team with anything and everything, she’s the person who keeps the whole place running like clockwork.
Jodie is the quiet MVP of the TFS community.
